In Japan, P-type's objective lens are usually cloudy. ( 99% ?) Also, It is said that To make P-type's objective lens clear is impossible.............. ( * If it's lens was received polishing by someone, the appearance become clear ,but, Generally, for minute polishing, needs
dish for aberration when maker use originally for polishing new lens. If without it's dish by polishing , it's lens's shape become different status with different radius of curvature. ----------------> It's telescope loose original performance.
at least , separation ability become down. YES, such refractors are ( JUNK ) By polishing, removing coating is also the worst . Because,it is impossible to remove only coating exactly, 100% impossible. ( by strange machine ,or poor hand) .
It's polishing work for removing coating, at the same time, damage lens itself...............................

Ignorant Japanese don't know, understand this fact. Japan has been making, exporting excellent Telescopes By Takahashi, Vixen, PENTAX, GOTO kogaku and so on. However, now already Japanaese Telescope lovers are almost such stupid people.
( of course, there are people who are gentlemen, knowing manner, but unfortunately they are minority.....................................)

By such (at random) polished objective lens, ,by watching planet, everyone(Japanaese) will think ( tonight, seeing will be bad,so planet can't be watched well.
In other words, by watching planets, performance down is difficult to be understood.
However, performance down is apparent when user watch double star. Originally, separation is easy double star by it's diameter, after polishing lens , become impossible to be able to separate......................................

( In Japan ,unfortunately there are a lot , of enormous
numbers , refractors with by nonsense polished objective lens ..... So, be careful of purchase from Yahoo Auction.( for foreigner ) In truth, I have experiences ( without knowing ) to have bought such junk scopes via Japanese Telescope shops.. Among them, there were very expensive
Telescopes. I troubled my 2 important customers. I apologize on this occasion. From lens picture on Yahoo Auction, it is impossible to distinguish if it's lens was wrongfully polished ,or not. So, troublesome........Anyway, Japanease Yahoo Auction is too dangerous.

Telescopes are precious Cultural heritage,so such things , I feel sad , but it's Japan's reality.. If everyone overseas will buy used Telescope from me, it is safe, Best.

About it( how bad by polishing) , I did test using non MC FC-50.with cloudy lens. I am saying above things from my experience.

In Japan, about cause of P-type's fogged, it has been said mainly there are 2 reasons ..

1, Lens in itself become cloudy --------------------------- ( I think this opinion is wrong )

2, The problem of coating-------------------- about it, now I can't say anything.

In the case of this P-type, when I disintegrate, foggy lens was only Front convex lens ( 2 aspects ,both of them) . Other 2 lens were coatinged, clear.

I tried cleaning for front convex lens ( 2 aspect) < first aspect's fog was most terrible , 2n'd aspect was better.

However, even if I tried by my most strong cleaner, there was not any effect at all.( I am using several type cleaners for each type coating, for it's lens feature ).

By the way, changing the subject, I bought ( A ) by chance before doing P-type lens cleaning.

I can't say what is (A). It is a piece of ones for other purpose.

I tried to use (A) for P-type front lens.....................................

Result was a great success.

Several days were needed, but front lens became clear. Without Polishing.

This is only my opinion.

At least my P-type , for objective lens, lens maker did coating only (middle position lens, and lens of depth side) .
In other words, front position lens was not normal coated .................

I don't know why lens maker did such things.

I think lens maker did something like a piece of oil for front lens instead of normal coating.

And during many years, dust has been getting to it's oil film.

Also, it's oil film harden . Already nobody can remove it's stiff film by any method..................

As a result, almost object lens of P-type are cloudy..................

However, I think my opinion won't apply all P-type 's objective lens.

In Japan, 99% P-type's objective lens are cloudy ,but other P-type may have much different objective lens.

Why lens lens maker didn't do normal coating like other 2 lens ?

I think already Nobody will know the truth.

The mystery of P-type's objective lens, will be imposible to be solved. (forever)-----------------My Postulate
